Lighting and people provide the best defenses against any illegal activities. In recent times, this old adage has been improved by technology. Carabetta Management Co. provides a trained and supervised in-house security staff, which is aided by a computerized, total communications network that provides for an immediate response to security issues. Security personnel are under the command of an experienced administrative staff that is cognizant and sensitive to the needs of our residents.

Daily attention is given to:

  • Training of all security personnel
  • Supervision and monitoring of all security personnel
  • Maintaining high standards to improve in-service training and inspections of all security personnel
  • Recognition and rewarding service excellence and individual achievement among Carabetta security personnel
  • Maintaining excellent working relations with law enforcement agencies in all communities throughout Connecticut

Carabetta holds a proprietary security license with the State of Connecticut Department of Public Safety, making our security force an "in-house" security organization. All security personnel are instructed and tested by a state-certified instructor as required by Connecticut law and all work exclusively at our residential communities.

We have a zero tolerance policy for illegal possession and/or sale of narcotics and strive to achieve a drug-free environment in compliance with our own policies and those of HUD.

Carabetta's Director of Security personally attends each and every applicant interview, processes, instructs and certifies all security personnel to ensure that we have the best force of security officers possible.
